Description
The Alzheimer's All-Star Basketball Classic is a fundraising competition featuring Boy and Girl All-Star Games and Competitions with the best High School Players in Nassau and Suffolk Counties.
Founded in 2010, the Alzheimer's All-Star Basketball Classic was founded by Gordon Thomas in memory of his father, Detective John Edward Thomas Sr., who died from the Alzheimer's Disease.
Consisting of two separate signature events, the All-Star Classic and the Slam Dunk & 3-Point Shootout, spread throughout the year, we look to bring awareness of the disease to not only our audience, but to our participants and their families as well.
